UnClobber... Did you make that up?
Why yes, yes I did.
Which made it that much easier to trademark.
UnClobber® is my attempt to say, in one word, that I do not believe that God stands opposed to those who are attracted to the same sex, or that God withholds Divine blessing from a same-sex relationship.
UnClobber® came out of my desire to reverse the damage of the so-called Clobber Passages.
Something that powerful demanded its own word.
WHAT IS THE BOOK ABOUT?
Have you (or someone you've known) ever been told, felt like, or in some way communicated to, that if you are gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual or queer, that you are therefore disqualified from life in God's Kingdom?
That somehow being "gay" and "Christian" are mutually exclusive?
If so, chances are that person/church/organization used the Bible to support their belief.
The Bible--which has about six verses in it that appear to address the issue of same-sex activity--has been misused for too long to exclude the LGBTQ community from the Table of God.
UnClobber® explores those six verses in a fresh, unique, critical, and thoughtful way, and offers an alternative understanding to what the Bible does (and does not) say about homosexuality.
